We arrived through a magical lush garden to our room (papa) to find every comfort, including breakfast in the fridge, a good supply of Kona coffee and ready access to Kalei who suggested a great Thai place for dinner (Thai Thai). Loved the location, a 5-minute drive to VNP allowing us easy access day and night.

The quiet and simplicity of the cabins was perfect! Very attentive service and very kind staffing! Great breakfasts and wonderful coffee. The only thing I would change is using real creamer (half & half) for the coffee. The short distance to the park entrance also a plus for late night viewing at the park. Also the Estates was very close to several decent restaurants.

Wonderful greeting by the innkeeper. The coqui frogs at night were delightful. Thank you for having the hot tub available 24/7 and flashlights for night hiking the volcano. The personal touches and the Kona coffee were much appreciated! Can’t wait to come again!

We had a great 2 night stay in Volcano Village. Everything was nice and clean and we would really like to thank Val for her help with our dead car battery!! She went above and beyond for us and was so helpful! Carlos was also kind and helpful. We hope to come again and would recommend this peaceful, quite bungalow so close to Volcano National Park!

Kalei was a wonderful host. We loved our Hina room, the egg bites for breakfast were ono, and the hot tub was a perfect way to end the day. We would definitely stay there again!!! Mahalo nui loa!

Carlos was very welcoming and informative during check-in process. We appreciated that he left us granola bars knowing we were hiking the Kilauea trail the next day – so thoughtful! The Pele suite was very comfortable and clean and perfect for a family of 4. We enjoyed the daily breakfast (includes baked item & fresh fruit) delivered to our unit. The kitchen area was also helpful since we had dinner takeaways. The hot tub was a pleasant surprise and perfect soak after a day of hiking. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We just stayed in Akaka Falls Cottage and loved our week there so much. This was our 5th visit but will not be out last . Pua and Carlos are such gracious host there . The food is excellent for Breakfast .We had our Baby “Luca” for his first visit. We will be back.

We spent my birthday here in the Pineapple Ohana and it was fantastic! From the staff’s warm, aloha filled greeting to the impeccably cleaned room, we couldn’t have asked for more. All that and so convenient to the park and village.
